Hi everyone,

I have a MAJOR teamspeak problem.  Whenever I'm playing BF2142 with Teamspeak open, teamspeak does not pick up my voice.  But as soon as I minimize the game, teamspeak works.  Its almost as if BF2142 is preventing me to use teamspeak.  How do I fix this issue?

FX,  can you reply with the name of your sound-card.  Also, can you tell me if you are running the latest drivers?

If your unaware of the name of your hardware device you can Right Click My Computer > Select Properties > Click the Device Manager Tab and it should tell you the name of the device under Sound, Video & Game Controllers.

Once we have this information we should be able to research more efficiently.  Please keep note of the location as this will generally tell you where what all your hardware is.

FX,  while we are waiting to get your responce to hardware. I wonder if you have disabled the ingame Voice option.  This wouldn't really be needed any longer if you can work with Teamspeak?

I'm using Windows XP with Service Pack 2.

I too had the problem, the answer is to disable in game VOIP.  This at least fixed my problem.

Thank you to Scout-R and Redline for helping me fix my problem, teamspeak works fine for me now.

Great to hear.  Very good back-up last night.  Way outscored me and was always right behind me.
