How does everyone feel about the following format for the Website. There is allot of code behind changes and I thought bringing this up to get feedback could help push development since we have been stuck in somewhat a stalemate with everyone working hard for the Christmas & New Year Holidays.

All the following functions have been added:

1.) Opened up objects for Video Implementations (Google, Gametrailers, YouTube & just about any outside content like Weather, RSS & the Google Calendar that can be published with HTML as an Object).

2.) Changed the Join Function to be more prevalent.

3.) Renamed Whats New to Recent Posts as this is a more precise term & reduced the space being used by the function as well as a link for users to run a query for all unread content within a selectable timeframe.

4.) Added A Second Content Editor (Whats New) allowing for more articles & better placement hoping to keep content from getting stale. Also added a notification asking for our members to provide feedback through the appropriate link.

5.) Changed the Inbox Notification to Red when messages are present (Higher Visibility)

6.) Added Server Links to the Sidebar W/Current Server Stats (Links to The Top 10 Players & All Players Currently on the Server) ...

7.) Removed the Link Buttons as I felt they were drawing too much attention & disabling needed content for the site.

8.) Removed the Tag Function as it was just using up space.

9.) Moved "Who Is Online" to the Sidebar with new Data stating new members withing the last 24 hours & the Username of our Newest User.

10.) Changed the Main Page Display & Membership Instructions according to a request from Norton.

11.) Changed All Colors to a Web Safe Pallet. This was not changed for the Main Banner and it was returned to the Original until more Art can be submitted by Vandal;).

12.) Changed the Default Blogs page to Blog List

* Verified that all content in Firefox, IE, Opera and several other browsers are working correctly!!!

* All Original Updates to Security & Provider are still implemented (IE.. Secure Email, Notifications, Member Profile Settings)

I'm sure we all have ideas but without any information or updates on content from the other communities not very much work is being completed. We need RevR & their other Clan to submit Art for their Logos on the main page. They also need to build their Blog Page for specific data to be passed along in chronological order. Here is an example I made in 2 minutes so you guys can work out the specifics and formating pretty quickly my friends!!!

Well, it's Christmas fellas and my whole family is sleeping because of the 5AM rise of my daughter to visit the Christmas Tree & I am all alone!!!

2PM is a visit to my Mom's house in which she has been calling me every single day!!! Something is up & I think it's good!!! Yea!!! Yea!!! but I'm unfortunately bored for the moment (LOL).

Thanks Norton, I knew you wanted to do something with member pic's & I actually tried yesterday!!! Maybe we could all submit a picture and Vandall could build a collage of some sort? I really think that could work but when you guys go to the get together that would be the best time to get the front standers and just put all of us that are unable to attend in the background!!! I tried but my Artistic Talents are too limited to build the collage and it looked simply U G L Y (LOL)!!! I do know that we need to implement a wider variety of games to reflect the diversity of the community & I am sure art is on the way by Watson or Vandal!!!

As for colors I wish Vandal or Watson would throw up a color scheme as this was my best attempt as a non-artistic type with no real background in that area!!! I can code, connect to a database, pull data and visually script a bit with Java but have limited ability in painting & I've tried the color wheel without success.... I also wanted to say the idea for adding Logos is only based on the Clan Tag & Logo for each group in Main Display Area.

I was also talking to Target the other day & I wanted to know how you felt about changing the Server Banners in which a specific group would participate more heavily in to something like: "{Group Name}, Logo & the text underneath would say "A United Gamers Community" our Logo & then provide a link to our site: www.ugcgamers.com?

As far as the community goes I am so grateful to be here and you know I will always do my best & donate time for the community as this place has a special place in my heart. I don't think that many of the guys realize that were one of the few places out that focuses on the community vs singled out individuals & we all started out as just like a Poker Night!!!

I also wanted to add my idea for Role Icons as they will only show up in Posts like Forums & Galleries unless someone believes they should show up in other areas of the site like The Members Page but I do not recommend that as this is a Private Area for member communications only & I don't think it's wise to open up the can of worms that can come with that as we allow our users to search for members...

Here is the Screen-shot Addition for Role Icons that would match the new style . RevR & the other communities would need to create their own icons as they have a wicked artist named Vandall. I did create a Vector that could be used for Generic Groups that would not have an artist whom could not meet the standard or create an in-format Image but it only includes the Tag as seen below.

* Keep in mind that different levels of access would have different labels like York could actually hold an MVP Title if the community felt that the title was fitting but you all get my point "It's really just to keep official communications signed officially"!!!

I thought I would provide some data according to visitor trending over the last month. Keep in mind that although some information cannot be correlated because of firewalls & and other barriers the system does account for quite a bit of interesting tracking capability. Looking at recent activity the system appears to be presenting somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 visitors in a month and the Bounce Rate is somewhere around 20% right now. We can all contribute to the site by putting out our thoughts opinions in any subject kinda like my recent post providing a tool in which allows our members to clear the cache in 2142 that has been forcing many 2142 users to reload on a weekly basis. This kind of information and tools is vital to our communities growth as it shows dedication in the community & I know everyone here is dedicated in providing the best place to be!!! 

* I would recommend keeping personal content in a Personal Blog though Fellas!!!

   We spoke about the banner not being too centered around the war games only.  We need something that says gaming without Pointing ONLY towards the war or first person games.
