Yea, I know!!!
We really need some creative Art but the problem is that I cannot make these images were talking about. I'm good at combining already created art. What I think we need is everyone in the community to submit art of any sort encompassing a wide range of gaming facets regardless if it's good or bad. Once we have that work we can begin a combination scheme or someone help me push Vandal...
Here is the normal course of a site creation in layman's terms:
I. Site Owner / Director (Planning Team) Submits Scheme (Wire Frame) & any other requirements or concepts through defining & planning although this may not be the end look it represents the objectives. Although we normally would have more structure & other documents or notes as well as collaboration prior to hand off.

Detailed site design specification
Detailed description of site content
Site maps, thumbnails, outlines, table of contents
Connection speeds supported
Web server and server resource (Information)
II. Technology Coordinator: Provides a proposal to create programming or technology to support specific features of the site. Provides detailed technical support specifications & requirements. Guides in the development & polishing of the site to completion with a schedule for implementing the site design and construction .
III. Graphic Artist / Developer:
a.) Developes concepts based on directives & the Wire Frame solution. Provide templates & story board with a theoretical solution. Most of the Art is completed prior to the next step.
b.) Developers write the logic and functions required for site functionality.
IV. Mock Site (Presentation): Not always but generally a mock site or storyboard is presented to the Director, Coordinator & Owner in order to determine any concerns.
V. Integration: Developers integrate all designs created by the developers, artists and engineers.
*** Keep in mind that the final product rarely looks as presented by the Artists!!!
VI. Test Site Design, Evaluate & Archive: Usually a 1 - 6 month evaluation by the public where the teams can digest statistics, feedback & prioritize while continually polishing.
VII. Site Marketing: Marketing Team promotes the sites official launch date & capabilities in forums/Magazines/Newspapers/Televisions or any known manner that gets the project networked!!!
V. Go Live Announcement:
VI. Live
We don't have any of this but the community can work together and make things happen and in time we will have the art to complete our vision. Plus, right now we don't play anything other than FPS so nobody has screen-shots or anything. I think we can integrate a map sort of like I did with the sniper with many alternative functions like cards, RPG's, Flight Sims or whatever it's just a matter of getting the art to complete the project...
I think your right about moving forward but let's get our guys to work for us as well. Everyone here has some form of creativity and have created something wonderful at one time or another and these are the kind of ideas we need!!! I would be more than proud to put up any creative solution by our members!!! Let's all work together.
If any of you folks have an idea. Don't let it slip by as it may have been the solution we needed!!!
By the way, you never gave me the changes you were going to talk with Big Target about. I would like to look at those before I implemenet a plan to integrate as I need to make sure we have no issues once pushed or a roll back option.
Enjoy!!!
