Hello fellas, 

I was just thinking about how we can protect the community and our values. 

Please give it a quick look and post your opinion or position regarding these rules. I already know that our Founders have a statement regarding the community that will be required as an addition. However, this document would be setup to require the visitor or potential member to sign a statement stating they would abide by these rules upon sign-up. I think we need this to  protect all of us and our potential visitors and future members.

By the way, if you haven't seen or read the Founders Declaration protecting the community somewhat like the Declaration of Independence than your missing a really well written document composed by RevR Tall, Firedog, Watson, BG & Norton. These general statements protect everything that UGC stands for to include providing a protective mechanism to ensure that rules do not overload the community values but I would guess that they are still writing the document & it's very small but very complex.

Well,  give me your opinion. I just thought I would throw this out as it was compiled based on information I collected from other sites & problems that other communities have experienced. I hope it's not to boring but I really think it could be an important document for the future. It's nowhere near the level of the Founders Document but it's a start. Please read and give your opinion although I know it's boring...
